Project Name: The California Center for the Arts

Description: Construction Manager and Owner's Representative for the design and construction of the California Center for Performing Arts. The Escondido Civic Center includes four major facilities: a state-of-the-art Lyric Theater seating up to 1,500 people, and featuring first class acoustics; a Community Theater for live drama, music and dance performances with seating for 400; a Conference Center featuring a central conference room and banquet facilities accommodating 800 people; a Fine Arts Gallery and Creative Arts Center with galleries, studios and classrooms. A new Central Plant and parking facilities were constructed to support the California Center for Performing Arts.

Received a Certificate of Achievement from the City of Escondido for outstanding service in the construction of the California Center for the Arts.

Project Name: BAE SYSTEMS Building 60 and Parking Structure

Description: McCuskey Group, Inc. acted as Construction Manager for the accelerated design – build construction of a new six story, 213,500 square foot office building with a detached five level, 40,639 square foot, parking structure for Department of Defense IT contractor, BAE SYSTEMS. In addition to our construction management services, we represented the Owner in negotiations with the General Contractor over disputed items associated with the GMP Contract and Scope of Work issues that remained after completion of the project.

Project Name: The Stockton Event Center Project

Description: Project included Banner Island Ballpark and the Waterfront Arena. McCuskey Group, Inc. provided procurement services (solicitation and 40+ bid packages) in accordance with public contract code, for Swinerton Builders, on the design-build project for the City of Stockton. McCuskey Group also provided project management augmentation for the 220,000 square feet Waterfront Area, which includes: 10,000 seats, 24 suites, 500 club seats, Club area, and 5,000 square feet of meeting rooms with clear exhibition of trade shows.

Project Name: City of Escondido Police and Fire Headquarters

Description: McCuskey Group, Inc. is the Construction Manager for a new three story, 109,000 square foot, combined police and fire administration facility; including construction of an Emergency Operations Center (EOC) for coordinated disaster response, and police functions including patrol, investigations, juvenile crime, domestic violence, crime laboratory, training, community meeting spaces and construction of a 9-1-1 computer aided dispatch center for the City of Escondido, California.

Project Name: Fallbrook Union High School Modernization Project

Description: McCuskey Group, Inc. provided valuable multiple prime experience and definition of bid packages to CRSS, the Construction Manager, for the Fallbrook Union High School modernization program. Project consisted of five new buildings, including an Agriculture classroom (1200 SF), Vocational Arts building (4,000 SF), Performing Arts building (25,000 SF), Media Center building (20,000 SF), and new Gymnasium (15,000 SF), landscaping and Sitework.. Work included the remodel of 24 existing buildings, which consisted of classrooms, administration building, cafeteria, wood shop, auto shop, and metal shop building, while maintaining an operational high school.
